Welcome to “The OB Blog”. I hope this blog will encourage you and I hope you will participate. This blog is intended for the sharing of what God is doing in the world and how it is impacting people. I hope to hear from missionaries in the field and from those who would like to become missionaries. I remember a pastor saying once - when he was told by an individual the he didn’t feel called to be a missionary – “I don’t see how we fell we need to be called to be a missionary, Jesus didn’t say therefore go, if you feel called…, no in fact he said “there for go and make disciples of all nations…” you see you don’t need a calling to follow a direct command from Jesus. “ I fully agree with this statement and pray that you to will see that all who call Jesus Lord and Savior have a responsibility to share to gospel. Moreover I pray that you will feel encouraged to share the good new of Jesus freely with those who are close to you. You see I believe that hell exists and I am not willing to give up on anyone I can lead to Christ. But remember it is neither you nor I who save, nor does God need us. Rather we are given grace to know Him and only God has revealed Himself to us by His Grace. Thank you Lord Jesus. Remember when Christ asked His disciples who He was, when they replied they said some say this and some say that, but Christ asked them “who do you say I am” and Peter replied “you are the Christ…” and Jesus told them that only God has revealed that to them. I say all this to remind you that only God knows the heart of man, and that even if you share with someone the good news and they pass it off like an old stinky gym sock. Don’t get discouraged, you may have planted a seed and never get to see it begin to sprout. But if God is willing that person will run into another Christian and BAM just like that they are ready. You may be the person they run into, be ready to share with anyone and God will use you if you let Him.
