The De Vinci Code and The Gospel of Judas vs. Scriptures?

Are The Da Vinci Code novel and the Gospel of Judas serious challenges to the accuracy of Scripture? Consider whether the two ( the novel claims some "facts") substantiate each other in any factual way. Shouldn't one expect some compatibility beyond that of a similar dubious motivation? If there is none, than it seems at least one document must be found to be false by default. There is textual agreement between the manuscripts of both the New and Old Testaments. For instance, the New Testament never clashes with the yet unfulfilled prophecies of the Old regarding the future of Israel. Similarly, the Old Testament requirements for the Messiah are perfectly mirrored in the New Testament writings describing Christ. Such inner symmetry was one of the parameters used for compiling the New Testament. Although bogus writings abounded, the Apostles and their contemporaries knew the difference, knowing the doctrine of Christ. Error can be avoided today by using the same system. Both the Da Vinci Code and The Gospel of Judas are refuted by a statement of Christ. He said, "In secret have I said nothing". No code, no secret conversation with Judas. Hopefully, honest people will investigate the Bible for themselves.
